Liverpool LA Section 19 Medical Needs
ACE is part of the Local Authority Section 19 Provision which is responsible for providing an education for students who live in Liverpool (Liverpool council tax band) and cannot attend their own school for medical reasons. ACE has an impressive success rate of engaging children with their education whom otherwise would be missing out. In addition the staff at ACE support children with their anxieties and encourage social interaction with peers.
The ACE Team aim to provide a valuable service during the time a child is unable to attend school and provide support in the child’s transition back into full-time school.

Mind Healthy at Home – This booklet has been put together by Liverpool Mental
Health Support Teams, and city partners as part of Liverpool’s Whole School Approach to Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing.
Advanced Solutions online support – Online learning programme for parents, carers and supporters who wish to gain knowledge and skills about their child’s neurodevelopmental condition, with strategies to support the difficulties that may present around: autism, ADHD and sensory processing disorder.
